This is a reader’s guide towards a greater understanding and appreciation
of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, continuing with his early followers in their
life and witness to the peoples of the world in response to his Great
Commission.
Jesus told his disciples, “I have been given all authority (all
legal power, based on God’s Laws, and right to rule and control)
in heaven and earth. Therefore go and make disciples (personal followers)
in all the nations, baptizing them (in water) into the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples (these
new personal followers) to obey all the commands I have given you; and
be sure of this – that I am with you always, even to the end of
the world.” Mark 16:15-18
